Introduction
The CJ9311 high efficiency synchronous boost converter. Able to operate from an input voltage below 1V, the devices feature fixed frequency, current mode PWM control for exceptional line and load regulation. With its low RDS(ON) and gate charge internal MOSFET switches, the devices maintain high efficiency over a wide range of load current. The high 1.2MHz switching frequency of the CJ9311 facilitates output filter component size reduction for improved power density and reduced overall footprint. It also provides greater bandwidth and improved transient response over other lower frequency step-up converters. The compensation and feedback is integrated with only three external components needed. The CJ9311 integrates a synchronous rectifier to improve efficiency as well as to eliminate the need for an external Schottky diode.
