HTC LM2576T-15

The LM2576 series regulators are monolithic integrated circuits ideally suited for easy and convenient step-down switching regulator designs. All circuits in this series are capable of driving a 3.0A load with excellent line and load regulation. These devices are available in fixed output voltages of 3.3V, 5.0V, 12V, 15V, and an adjustable output version. These regulators are designed to minimize the number of external components to simplify power supply designs. Standard inductor series optimized for the LM2576 are available from several different inductor manufacturers. Features of the LM2576 include output voltage tolerance of ±4% and oscillator frequency tolerance of ±10% under specified input voltage and output load conditions. An external shutdown function is included, with a typical standby current of 50µA. The output switch incorporates cycle-by-cycle current limiting and thermal shutdown for full protection under fault conditions.
