Introduction
MS4931 is a three-phase brushless motor pre-driver IC with a maximum operating voltage of 35V, capable of driving a wide range of N-channel power MOSFETs. The device features locked-rotor protection, over-temperature protection, and synchronous rectification. The internal synchronous rectification reduces power dissipation during the decay period by turning on the appropriate power transistors. MS4931 provides enable, direction, and brake input pins for current control, while logic input pins FG1 and FG2 can be used to measure motor rotation. The operating temperature range is -20°C to 105°C, housed in a 28-pin QFN package.
