The LTM4712 is a high-efficiency buck-boost µModule regulator. The device integrates a switching controller, power switches, inductor, and supporting components. A complete circuit design requires only a few external components, including a resistor for frequency setting, a resistor for output voltage setting, input and output capacitors, and a sense resistor for input or output average current regulation. The LTM4712 operates over an input voltage range of 5V to 36V with an adjustable output voltage range of 1V to 36V. The LTM4712 supports selectable forced continuous mode/pulse-skipping mode operation. Its current mode control enables fast transient response to line and load variations without compromising stability. The SYNC input and CLKOUT output facilitate synchronization. It supports multiphase parallel operation for high-power applications. The LTM4712 is housed in a 16mm × 16mm × 8.34mm BGA package suitable for automated assembly with standard SMT equipment. This product is RoHS compliant.
