Introduction
AiP74LVC4245 is a dual-supply 8-bit bus transceiver with non-inverting 3-state bus-compatible outputs in both send and receive directions. It is designed to interface between 3V and 5V buses in mixed 3V/5V supply environments. The device features an output enable input (pin OE) for easy cascading and a transmit/receive input (pin DIR) for direction control. Pin OE controls the outputs to effectively isolate the buses. In suspend mode, when VCC(A) is zero, no current flows from one supply to the other. The A outputs must be set to 3-state, and the voltage on the A bus must be less than Vdiode (typical value 0.7V). VCC(A) ≥ VCC(B), except in suspend mode.
