Introduction
This document briefly introduces the ECP5 evaluation board. The evaluation board kit includes the ECP5 evaluation board, a 12V AC/DC adapter with international plug adapters, a USB cable for PC-based programming, a Lattice Diamond design software limited license with a unique serial number (optional use), and a quick start guide. The evaluation board ships with master SPI-based configuration support, and the external SPI flash configuration memory comes preloaded with a demonstration design. Users can download and use Lattice Diamond design software (version 3.6 or later) to develop their own solutions, or use the Diamond Programmer standalone software (version 3.6 or later) to reprogram the board. Connecting the power adapter supplies power to the board, and the demonstration design can be observed with specific switch settings. Users can also visit the Lattice website to download the complete user guide, full source code for the default demonstration, and additional resources.
