Introduction
The TL2575 and TL2575HV devices provide all the essential functions required for a step-down (buck) switching regulator in an integrated circuit. They require four to six external components to operate. They accept a wide input voltage range of up to 60V (TL2575-HV) and offer fixed output voltages of 3.3V, 5V, 12V, 15V or an adjustable output version. The TL2575 and TL2575HV devices feature an integrated switch capable of providing a load current of 1A and have excellent line and load regulation. The device also provides internal frequency compensation, a fixed-frequency oscillator, cycle-by-cycle current limiting and thermal shutdown functions. In addition, it can be manually turned off via an external ON/OFF pin.
