Introduction
The MAX811xx series is a microprocessor reset IC with voltage monitoring functionality, featuring an enable control input for monitoring the supply voltage of microcontrollers or other logic systems. It provides a reset signal to the system during power-up, power-down, and power-saving conditions, or when the supply voltage drops below the preset threshold voltage Vth. Meanwhile, when power is applied or the supply voltage recovers above the preset threshold voltage Vth, or when the MR(overline) enable voltage transitions from low to high, the RESET output goes high after a delay of Trp. When the input voltage falls below the threshold voltage Vth, the RESET output of the MAX811xx series is driven low; the RESET output is also driven low when the enable control input MR(overline) is at a low level. Simple to use with no external components required.
