The STEVAL-MKI080V1 demonstration board is designed to provide users with a complete, ready-to-use platform for demonstrating the LPR410AL product family.
The STEVAL-MKI080V1 includes a sensing element and an IC interface that converts information from the sensing element into measurement signals usable by external applications.
In addition to the MEMS sensor, the demonstration board uses an ST7 microcontroller, which acts as a bridge between the sensor and a PC. This allows users to download a GUI from the website or develop custom applications using dedicated software programs.
The STEVAL-MKI080V1 demonstration board is designed for two different operating modes: analog mode and digital mode.
In analog mode (AWM), the microcontroller is disabled and the analog output of the device is made available to the user via a dedicated connector. This is the default operating mode when powered through the USB connector or power connector.
In digital mode (DWM), the microcontroller is enabled, allowing users to acquire the device's output signals digitally, display them on a PC via a dedicated GUI, and manage the device's control pins.
