The LMR33610 SIMPLE SWITCHER® regulator is an easy-to-use synchronous DC/DC buck converter with high efficiency for demanding industrial applications. The LMR33610 can drive up to 1A of load current with input voltages up to 36V. The LMR33610 provides excellent light-load efficiency and output accuracy. Features such as power good flag and precision enable facilitate flexible and easy-to-use solutions across a wide range of applications. To improve efficiency, the LMR33610 automatically folds back frequency at light loads. Protection features include thermal shutdown, input undervoltage lockout, cycle-by-cycle current limiting, and hiccup short-circuit protection. Through integration and internal compensation, the device reduces external component count and offers a pin arrangement designed for simple PCB layout. The feature set is intended to simplify implementation across a variety of end equipment. The LMR33610 is pin-to-pin compatible with the LMR33620, LMR33630, LMR33640 (36V, 2A/3A/4A), LMR36510 (65V, 1A), and LMR36520 (65V, 2A), completing a scalable SIMPLE SWITCHER power family that reduces cost and minimizes board layout rework. The LMR33610 is available in an 8-pin HSOIC package.
