Introduction
LM293/LM393 consists of two independent comparators. The circuit operates from a wide range of single supply voltages and now also supports dual supplies. When using dual supplies, the voltage difference between the two supplies ranges from 2V to 18V, and Vcc must be at least 1.5V above the input common-mode voltage. Quiescent current consumption is independent of supply voltage. The outputs can be connected to the open-collector outputs of other devices to implement wired-AND logic. It is primarily suited for industrial, automotive, power supply monitoring, oscillator peak detector, logic level conversion, and similar applications.
