Introduction
The NTE5621 through NTE5627 TRIACs are primarily designed for full-wave AC control applications such as light dimmers, motor controls, heating controls, and power supplies — or wherever a full-wave, silicon gate-controlled solid-state device is required. TRIAC thyristors switch from the blocking state to the conducting state via positive or negative gate triggering under either polarity of applied anode voltage.
