Introduction
A dynamic inclinometer is an instrument that measures the tilt, elevation, or depression angle of an object relative to gravity while the object is in motion. Since motion, vibration, and shock (external accelerations) introduce errors into tilt measurements, dynamic inclinometers (or tilt sensors) typically benefit from onboard gyroscopes and fusion algorithms that combine gyroscope and accelerometer data to compensate for errors introduced by external accelerations. The TILT-57A dynamic inclinometer series is a high-performance, high-resolution dual-axis dynamic inclinometer incorporating the latest miniature MEMS sensor technology.
