Introduction
The TMP103 is a digital output temperature sensor in a 4-ball Wafer-Level Chip-Scale Package (WCSP). The TMP103 reads temperature with a resolution of 1℃.
The TMP103 features a two-wire interface compatible with both I²C and SMBus. The interface also supports the Multi-Device Access (MDA) command, allowing the master to communicate with multiple devices on the bus simultaneously, eliminating the need to send commands to each TMP103 individually.
Up to 8 TMP103 devices can be connected in parallel and easily read by the host. The TMP103 is particularly well-suited for space-constrained, power-sensitive applications with multiple temperature zones that must be monitored.
The TMP103 is specified for an operating temperature range of -40℃ to +125℃.
