Introduction
IDEC 6mm and 14mm interface relays provide a compact solution for general-purpose relay requirements. The RV8 series interface relays are available in both electromechanical and solid-state models, suited for PLCs and electronic systems, industrial automation, panel builders, assembly machine applications, and other applications requiring high switching capability in compact spaces. RV8 series interface relays can be used as interfaces between controllers and actuators to switch small to medium loads. The 14mm interface relays are designed for space-constrained panels — compared to standard plug-in relays, these slim relays reduce DIN rail space by up to 40%. RV8 relays are suited for higher-load switching applications, high I/O density panels, and commercial HVAC panels. UL compliant when used with corresponding sockets.
