The LZ-19 Series LVIT linear position sensors are through-hole LVIT linear position sensors designed for applications requiring a high stroke-to-body-length ratio. This series of LVIT (Linear Variable Inductance Transducer) position sensors are non-contact devices engineered for factory automation or assembly machinery applications with limited space, and can also be externally mounted on hydraulic cylinders to sense piston rod position. The LVIT nominal full-scale range is 2.5 to 750mm (0.100 to 30 inches) with an excellent stroke-to-length ratio. The sensors feature a 19.0mm (3/4 inch) OD aluminum housing with optional stainless steel, and are equipped with a 1m axial cable for I/O connection. The LZ-19's 7.5mm (0.295 inch) diameter through-hole provides clearance for a 6.00mm (0.236 inch) diameter actuating rod made from the same material as the housing. This through-hole design means the sensor will not be damaged by typical mechanical over-travel.
