Introduction
MS9943/MS9944 is an ADC designed for full analog signal processing of CCD image sensors. The internal blocks integrate a correlated double sampler (CDS), a digitally controlled variable gain amplifier (VGA), and a dark pixel clamp circuit. MS9943 offers 10-bit resolution, and MS9944 offers 12-bit resolution. Internal register configuration is implemented via a serial data interface. Programmable features include: gain adjustment, dark pixel adjustment, input clock polarity selection, and power-down. The MS9943/MS9944 operates at a typical supply voltage of 3V with 79mW power consumption, housed in an LFCSP32 package.
