Renesas XL series devices (XO and VCXO options available) are ultra-precision crystal oscillators with typical phase jitter of 750 to 890fs over a 12kHz to 20MHz bandwidth. XL series crystal oscillators cover a wide frequency range from 0.750MHz to 1350MHz, employing a range of proprietary ASICs with a focus on noise reduction techniques. A third-order Delta-Sigma modulator reduces noise to levels comparable to conventional bulk quartz and SAW oscillators. With short lead times, low cost, low noise, wide frequency range, and excellent environmental performance, XL devices are an ideal replacement for legacy technologies. XL (XO option) devices offer stability up to ±20ppm, while XL (VCXO option) devices provide an APR of ±50ppm. Both options enable extremely fast delivery for standard and custom frequencies alike.
