TI TPS84210RKGR

The TPS84210RKG is an easy-to-use integrated power solution that combines a 2A DC/DC converter with power MOSFETs, an inductor, and passive components in a compact BQFN package. This complete power solution requires only 3 external components, eliminating the need for loop compensation and magnetic component selection.

The 9×11×2.8mm BQFN package is easily solderable to a PCB and enables compact point-of-load designs with efficiency greater than 90%, featuring excellent power dissipation with a junction-to-ambient thermal resistance of only 12°C/W. At an ambient temperature of 85°C with no airflow, the device can deliver a full 2A output current.

The TPS84210 offers the flexibility and feature set of a discrete point-of-load design, making it an ideal choice for powering high-performance DSPs and FPGAs. Advanced packaging technology delivers a robust and reliable power solution compatible with standard QFN placement and test techniques.
