The HLMP-Pxxx series flat-top lamps feature uncolored, non-diffused truncated lenses providing wide radiation patterns for backlighting applications. Flat-top lamps are also suitable as emitters in light pipe applications. The HLMP-6xxx series round-top lamps, when used as indicators, employ colored diffused lenses to provide wide viewing angles and high on/off contrast. High-brightness lamps use uncolored, non-diffused lenses to deliver high luminous intensity within a narrow radiation pattern. The HLMP-6xxx series 5V subminiature lamps incorporate built-in current-limiting resistors for space-constrained applications. All these devices are formed by encapsulating LED dies on axial lead frames within molded epoxy subminiature lamp packages. Multiple package configuration options are available, including special SMT lead configurations, gull-wing, yoke leads, or Z-bend. Right-angle lead bends at 2.54 mm and 5.08 mm center spacing are available for through-hole mounting.
