Broadcom HSMZ-C170

These chip-type LEDs utilize AlInGaP material technology. AlInGaP material offers extremely high luminous efficiency, capable of producing high light output across a wide range of drive currents. This SMT series is available in colors including 592nm amber, 605nm orange, 626nm red, and 631nm red. All packages except red are binned by color and luminous intensity. These chip LEDs are offered in two top-emitting packages or one side-emitting package. Right-angle chip LEDs are suited for applications such as LCD backlighting. Top-emitting chip LEDs with wide viewing angles are suited for light pipes and direct backlighting of keyboards and panels. For ease of pick-and-place operations, these chip LEDs are packaged in tape-and-reel format with quantities of 4000 and 3000 units per reel, respectively. These packages are compatible with IR reflow soldering processes.
