Introduction
The TruStability High Accuracy Silicon Ceramic Series is a piezoresistive silicon pressure sensor that provides a ratiometric analog or digital output for reading pressure over a specified full-scale pressure range and temperature range. The series is fully calibrated and temperature-compensated for sensor offset, sensitivity, temperature effects, and non-linearity through an onboard ASIC. Pressure-calibrated output values are updated at approximately 1 kHz in analog mode and approximately 2 kHz in digital mode. The series is calibrated over a temperature range of 0°C to 50°C. Sensor operating characteristics are based on a single supply voltage of 3.3 Vdc or 5.0 Vdc. These sensors can measure absolute, gauge, or differential pressure. The absolute pressure version features an internal vacuum reference, with output proportional to absolute pressure. The gauge pressure version references atmospheric pressure and provides an output proportional to changes in atmospheric pressure. The differential pressure version allows measurement of the pressure difference between two pressure ports. These sensors are designed for use with non-corrosive, non-ionic gases such as air and other dry gases. Optional configurations extend the performance of these sensors to non-corrosive, non-ionic liquids at pressure ranges above 40 mbar. All products are designed and manufactured in accordance with ISO 9001.
