Introduction
The XL2515 is a stand-alone CAN controller that implements the CAN 2.0B specification. The controller supports simultaneous transmission and reception of standard and extended data frames as well as remote frames. It features two receive masks and six receive filters for filtering unwanted messages, thereby minimizing the workload on the host microcontroller. The XL2515 interfaces with the microcontroller via a standard SPI.

- Buffer full output pins configurable as: interrupt output per RX buffer or general-purpose output
