Introduction
COS8551 (single-channel), COS8552 (dual-channel), and COS8554 (quad-channel) are micropower, zero-drift op-amps operating from a supply voltage range of 1.8V to 5.5V. The COS855x series employs chopper stabilization technology to deliver ultra-low offset voltage (maximum less than 20µV) with near-zero temperature drift. Each amplifier features a quiescent supply current as low as 55µA and extremely low input bias current, making it ideal for low-offset, low-power, and high-impedance applications.
Despite the low quiescent current, the COS855x series delivers excellent overall performance and versatility. They feature rail-to-rail input and output ranges, with output voltage swing extending to within 5mV of each supply rail, providing maximum output dynamic range and excellent overdrive recovery. The COS855x series is unity-gain stable with a typical gain-bandwidth product of 1.5MHz.
