The AMC130x is a high-precision isolated amplifier optimized for shunt resistor-based current sensing. Its low offset and gain errors, along with associated temperature drift characteristics, ensure accurate measurements across the full operating temperature range. The device uses silicon dioxide as the isolation medium, supporting electrical isolation up to 5 kVRMS and complying with UL1577 certification. This technology separates the high-voltage domain from the low-voltage domain, effectively protecting low-side components from damage while providing low emissions and high magnetic field immunity. Its high common-mode transient immunity (CMTI) ensures reliable signal transmission across the isolation barrier, making it suitable for industrial motor control and drive applications requiring high voltage and high-power switching. The integrated input common-mode overvoltage detection and high-side power loss detection features facilitate system fault diagnosis and safety protection.
