The 5KP series is designed to protect sensitive electronic equipment from voltage transients caused by lightning strikes and other transient voltage events.

• Fast response time: typically less than 1.0ps from 0V to minimum breakdown voltage

• Typical failure mode is short circuit due to overvoltage or overcurrent
