Introduction
The Si5335x series universal pin-selectable format devices are the industry's highest-performance, lowest-power automotive-grade fanout buffers. The series offers 10, 8, 4, and 2 output options, supporting differential and single-ended output formats. These devices feature a typical additive phase jitter of 120 fs and operate over a frequency range of 10 to 250 MHz. An integrated LDO regulator provides high power supply noise rejection, reduces external component requirements, and simplifies low-jitter clock distribution in noisy environments. The series offers both pin-selectable I/O format versions and fully customizable versions, where users can define I/O formats and input hardware pins using ClockBuilder Pro to precisely match system requirements. With ClockBuilder Pro, users can individually define the signal format for each output, enable a 2:1 input multiplexer, and define input/output level translation. In addition, loss-of-signal monitoring for the input clock can also be enabled.
