Introduction
Luminus LEDs feature a series of innovations in chip technology, packaging, and thermal management. These breakthroughs enable lighting engineers and designers to achieve high-brightness and high-efficiency solutions. Luminus technology enables large-area LED chips to deliver uniform brightness across the entire chip surface. The optical power and luminance produced by these large monolithic chips can replace arc lamps and halogen lamps that traditional high-power LED arrays cannot. Luminus LEDs undergo rigorous environmental and mechanical stress testing — including mechanical shock, vibration, thermal cycling, and humidity testing — making them suitable for extremely high-power and high-current applications with very low failure rates and a median lifetime typically exceeding 60,000 hours. In terms of packaging technology, the Luminus SBT-90 LED has a junction-to-heatsink thermal resistance of 0.5°C/W, the lowest in the market, allowing it to be driven at higher current densities while maintaining low junction temperatures, resulting in brighter illumination and longer lifespan. In addition, Luminus white LEDs help reduce power consumption and hazardous waste entering the environment; all products are RoHS compliant and free of hazardous substances such as lead and mercury.
