Description
The HGX32xxE series are interface ICs powered by 3V supply, meeting EIA/TIA-232 and CCITT V.28/V.24 communication requirements with low power consumption. Each device integrates two drivers, two receivers, and a dedicated switched-capacitor voltage converter. The HGX3220 features one driver and one receiver. These devices operate from a 3V to 5.5V supply with a guaranteed data rate of 250kbit/s. ESD protection on all RS-232 I/O pins exceeds ±15kV air discharge and ±8kV contact discharge per EN61000-4-2.
