Opis
The BQ2947 series is an overvoltage monitor and protector for lithium-ion battery pack systems. It independently monitors each battery cell for overvoltage conditions. In the BQ2947 device, when an overvoltage condition is detected on any battery cell, an external delay timer is activated. When the delay timer times out, the output is triggered into its operating state (either high or low depending on the configuration). The external delay timer also features the ability to detect an open or shorted delay capacitor on the CD pin, which will also trigger the output driver in a similar manner under overvoltage conditions. To enable faster product line testing, the BQ2947 device offers a customer test mode with a shorter delay time.
