The ATGBICS-compatible FTLF1326P3BTL-C is an extremely compact 10Gb/s optical transceiver module for 10Gb/s serial optical communications applications. The FTLF1326P3BTL-C converts 10Gb/s serial electrical data streams to 10Gb/s optical output signals, and 10Gb/s optical input signals to 10Gb/s serial electrical data streams. The high-speed 10Gb/s electrical interface is fully compliant with the SFI specification. A high-performance 1310nm DFB transmitter and high-sensitivity PIN receiver deliver excellent performance for Ethernet applications over links up to 2km. The SFP+ module complies with SFF-8431, SFF-8432, and IEEE 802.3ae 10GBASE-LRM standards. Digital diagnostic functions are accessible via a 2-wire serial interface as specified in SFF-8472. The fully SFP-compliant form factor provides hot-pluggable capability, facilitates optical port upgrades, and offers low EMI emissions.
