Introduction
This SMT LED series uses the industry-standard PLCC-2 package. These SMT LEDs offer high reliability and are designed to operate across a wide range of environmental conditions. This high reliability makes them ideal for use in demanding automotive interior and indoor signage applications. For ease of pick-and-place assembly, the LEDs are supplied in EIA-standard tape and reel packaging. Except for red, each reel is shipped in a single intensity and color bin to ensure a high degree of consistency. These LEDs are compatible with IR reflow soldering processes. Due to their high reliability, they can also be installed using wave soldering processes. The 120° extra-wide viewing angle makes these LEDs ideal for office equipment, industrial equipment, and home appliances. The flat-top emitting surface makes these LEDs easy to couple with light pipes. The built-in reflector enhances light output intensity, and these LEDs are also suitable for use as LED pixels in indoor electronic signage.
