Introduction
The UltraMOV® Metal Oxide Varistor series is designed for applications requiring high peak surge current ratings and high energy absorption capability. These varistors are primarily intended for AC line voltage applications such as surge protective devices, uninterruptible power supplies, AC outlet strips, AC energy meters, or other products requiring suppression of high transient surge current voltages from lightning, inductive load switching, or capacitor bank switching. The devices are available in radial lead packages in 7mm, 10mm, 14mm, and 20mm sizes with multiple lead configurations. UltraMOV® varistors feature industry-accepted epoxy encapsulation, rated for ambient temperatures up to 85°C with no derating required. The series uses laser marking and is available in bulk, taped and ammo pack, or tape and reel packaging.

- High operating temperature range up to 125°C (phenolic coating option). 10mm, 14mm, and 20mm devices are UL and TUV certified with 800V isolation voltage rating
