The ADG5208F and ADG5209F are 8:1 and dual 4:1 analog multiplexers, respectively. The ADG5208F switches one of 8 inputs to a common output, while the ADG5209F switches one of 4 differential inputs to a common differential output. Both devices feature an EN input for enabling or disabling the device. When turned on, each channel conducts equally in both directions, and the input signal range can extend to the supply voltage range. The digital inputs are compatible with 3 V logic inputs over the full operating voltage range. In the absence of power, the channels remain off and the switch inputs are in a high-impedance state. Under normal operating conditions, if the analog input signal level on any Sx pin exceeds VDD or VSS by more than the threshold voltage Vr, the corresponding channel turns off and the drain pin is pulled to the exceeded supply voltage. Input signal levels reaching −55 V or +55 V relative to ground are blocked regardless of whether power is applied. These switches feature low capacitance and charge injection characteristics, making them ideal for data acquisition and sample-and-hold applications that require low switching glitches and fast settling times.
