AU6815P is a digital-input, dual-channel stereo, high-efficiency Class-D audio power amplifier with a maximum output power of 2×32W or 1×64W. The device employs an innovative modulation scheme to effectively reduce quiescent power consumption and extend battery life. It integrates a 32-bit high-precision audio DSP, providing tuning algorithms including 2×15 equalizers, 3-band dynamic range control, and automatic gain limiting. Dynamic bass enhancement is also supported to improve bass performance at low volume levels. The internal DSP processing bandwidth supports up to 48kHz. In terms of audio quality, THD+N is below 0.03%, and the extremely low DC offset voltage ensures excellent pop suppression during power-on and power-off. As a medium-to-high power audio amplifier, it supports multi-level over-temperature warning and over-temperature shutdown protection for thermal management; die temperature can be continuously read via registers, facilitating system-level thermal management. For speaker protection, it supports overcurrent, overvoltage, undervoltage, and DC protection. The device comes in a TSSOP28PP package, requires no heatsink, and has a rated operating temperature range of –25°C to +85°C.
