Introduction
The ISO7142CC device provides current isolation up to 2500 VRMS for 1 minute in accordance with UL 1577 and 4242 VPK isolation in accordance with VDE V0884 - 10. The ISO7142CC is a four - channel isolator with two forward and two reverse channels. The maximum data transfer rate of this device is 50Mbps when powered by a 5V supply, and 40Mbps when powered by a 3.3V or 2.7V supply. The input of the ISO7142CC device integrates a filter, making it suitable for noise - sensitive applications. Each isolation channel has a logic input and output buffer separated by a silicon dioxide (SiO₂) insulation barrier. When used with an isolated power supply, this device prevents noise currents on the data bus or other circuits from entering the local ground and interfering with or damaging sensitive circuits. The device has transistor - transistor logic (TTL) input thresholds and can operate when powered by 2.7V, 3.3V, and 5V voltages.
