Introduction
FAN7380 is a monolithic half-bridge gate driver IC capable of driving MOSFETs and IGBTs with operating voltages up to +600V. The high-voltage process and common-mode noise rejection technique enable stable operation of the high-side driver in high dv/dt noise environments. An advanced level-shifting circuit allows the high-side gate driver to operate at voltages up to Vs=-9.8V (typical) when VBS=15V. Input logic levels are compatible with standard TTL logic gates. An internal shoot-through protection circuit provides 100ns dead time to prevent output switching devices from conducting simultaneously during transitions. Undervoltage lockout (UVLO) circuits on both channels prevent malfunction when Vcc and VBS fall below the specified threshold voltage. The output driver's typical source/sink currents are 90mA/180mA respectively, making it suitable for fluorescent lamp/CFL applications and systems requiring low di/dt noise.
