Introduction
The OPAx189 (OPA189 and OPA2189) series high-precision op amps feature ultra-low noise, fast settling time, and zero temperature drift, with rail-to-rail output operation, a unique MUX-friendly architecture, and a controlled turn-on system. These characteristics, combined with excellent AC performance, an offset voltage of only 0.4μV, and a temperature drift of 0.005μV/°C, make the OPAx189 ideal for high-precision instrumentation, signal measurement, and active filter applications. Additionally, the MUX-friendly input architecture prevents surge current when large differential input voltages are applied, improving settling time performance in multiplexed systems while providing robust ESD protection during shipping, handling, and assembly. All device versions are rated for an operating temperature range of -40°C to +125°C.
