Introduction
The MFC-2160KM fingerprint sensor module consists of the MFC-2160KM fingerprint sensor and an algorithm MCU. The module provides a UART interface output port for connection to the customer-side motherboard. The MFC-2160KM operates as follows: the pixel array captures fingerprint images, transmitting fingerprint ridge or valley signals to the A/D converter and digital processor, then to the SPI for data readout. Since the fingerprint algorithm is pre-installed in the MCU, users can perform fingerprint enrollment, matching, and other operations on the module via the UART interface using MCU SOC commands.
