The ND medium-pressure series is based on Superior's NimbleSense architecture, supporting operating temperatures from -20°C to 85°C and capable of withstanding pressures up to 150 psi (10.3 Bar). In addition, the ND series employs the company's proprietary Multi-Range technology, delivering the industry's widest dynamic range. This expanded dynamic range provides multiple pressure ranges within a single package, reducing the number of sensor variants required to meet the demanding functional requirements of different industrial market segments. For example, a single Multi-Range-enabled ND sensor can replace up to 7 competitive products, significantly simplifying installation requirements and substantially reducing inventory costs.
The ND medium-pressure series supports pressure ranges from as low as 5 psi to as high as 150 psi, serving a wide variety of industrial applications ranging from air curtains to environmental test chambers, ophthalmic surgical equipment, drones, and 3D printing.
The ND medium-pressure series measures dry air and non-corrosive gas pressure with very high accuracy and stable zero-point performance, featuring industry-leading nonlinearity — typically 0.01% FSS. The ND medium-pressure series offers selectable bandwidth filters from 1 Hz to 200 Hz and 16-bit resolution. To enhance performance, the ND series integrates 50/60 Hz notch filters to minimize the impact of power supply noise spikes.
