Introduction
CD34... capacitive sensors are designed to detect water-based (conductive) liquids through non-metallic container walls, with automatic adaptation to plastic or glass walls of various thicknesses. A universal mounting bracket allows the sensor to be fixed to various pipes or containers. The rugged, compact housing features IP69K protection and ECOLAB certification, making it suitable for washdown applications. The sensor works out of the box in most applications and also includes a teach-in function to accommodate more challenging applications.
Features
- Compact housing, supply voltage: 10 to 30 VDC, output: 100mA NPN or PNP preset
- Switching function (NO/NC)
- LED indication for output and power-on status
- Protection: reverse polarity, short circuit, and transient protection
- Available in cable and M8 connector versions with excellent EMC performance
- IP65, IP66, IP67, IP68, and IP69K ratings for washdown applications, cULus listed, Ecolab certified
Applications
- Water-based fluid detection in containers or pipes
- Liquid level detection
