Introduction
FlatPAC is a low-profile, agency-approved complete switching power supply solution. It combines VI-200 series DC-DC converters with modular packaging and front-end components to deliver 50–600 W output power with 1–3 outputs. Built on a microcontroller architecture, it features remote sensing, current limiting, overvoltage protection, and thermal shutdown, with efficiency of 80%–90%. Its modern design enables rapid configuration and delivery. For conduction-cooled applications, a flat-plate heatsink is available as an alternative to the standard finned version. A current-controlled output option using BatMod converter modules is also available, supporting 12, 24, or 48 Vdc output. Mixing VI-200 and BatMod modules within a single FlatPAC is not permitted.
