Introduction
The TW3972 is an antenna utilizing Accutenna® technology that provides tri-band GPS L1/L2/L5, GLONASS G1/G2/G3, BeiDou B1/B2, Galileo E1/E5a+b, and L-band correction service coverage, specifically designed for precise tri-band positioning. The antenna features exceptional multipath signal rejection, linear phase response, and tight phase center variation (PCV). It is suited for high-precision applications such as precision agriculture and autonomous vehicle tracking and guidance. It employs precision-tuned dual circular dual-feed stacked patch elements. Signals from two orthogonal feeds are combined in a hybrid combiner, amplified by a wideband LNA, then separated by band for narrowband filtering in each band, and further amplified before being recombined at the output. Additionally, the antenna incorporates a robust pre-filter to mitigate intermodulation interference from LTE and other cellular bands.
