Introduction
The MACD-14 reed switch is a closed differential, ultra-miniature, normally open switch with a glass envelope measuring 14.00mm long × 2.28mm diameter (0.551 in × 0.090 in), capable of switching loads up to 200Vdc at 10W. A surface mount version, the MASM-14, is also available. It features a minimum insulation resistance of up to 10¹⁰ ohms and a contact resistance of less than 100 milliohms. Both reed switches are suited for applications requiring low magnetic hysteresis between operate and release values.
