Introduction
The low-power ACPL-x6xL series digital optocouplers integrate an AlGaAs LED and a high-gain photodetector. These optocouplers feature extremely low power consumption, with a maximum supply current of 1.3 mA per channel over the entire temperature range. The forward LED drive current can be as low as 1.6 mA, allowing direct drive from most microprocessors. An internal Faraday shield ensures a minimum common-mode transient immunity of 20 kV/μs. The highest AC and DC isolation performance is achieved while maintaining TTL/CMOS compatibility. The CMOS output of the optocoupler features slew rate control, designed to allow rise and fall times to be controlled over a wide range of load capacitances. The ACPL-x6xL series supports 3.3 V and 5 V supply voltages and guarantees AC and DC performance over a temperature range of -40°C to +105°C. These low-power optocouplers are suitable for high-speed logic interface applications.
