Introduction
A high-precision isolated amplifier optimized for shunt resistor-based current sensing. Low offset and gain errors with their associated temperature drift maintain measurement accuracy across the full operating temperature range. Using silicon dioxide as the isolation barrier, it supports electrical isolation up to 5 kVRMS in compliance with UL 1577 certification. This technology separates the high- and low-voltage domains to protect low-voltage components from damage, while providing low emissions and high magnetic field immunity. High common-mode transient immunity ensures correct signal transmission across the isolation barrier, making it suitable for industrial motor control and drive applications requiring high-voltage, high-power switching. Internal input common-mode overvoltage and high-side supply loss detection features aid fault diagnosis and system safety. Available in an 8-pin SOW package, it operates across the extended industrial temperature range of -40°C to 125°C.
