The KEMET T491 is specifically designed for today's highly automated SMT processes and equipment, making it the preferred choice for surface mount designs. Per J STD 020, the T491 carries a Moisture Sensitivity Level (MSL) of 1, with unlimited shelf life under conditions of ≤ 30°C / 85% relative humidity. The T491's standard terminations are 100% matte tin, offering excellent solderability and compatibility with today's SMT soldering systems. Sn/Pb terminations are available upon request for any part number. Gold-plated terminations are also available for conductive epoxy attachment processes. These devices are supplied in standard EIA 481 tape and reel packaging, fully compatible with all tape-and-reel placement equipment.
