CM6511 is a micropower, low-noise, low-dropout negative voltage regulator capable of delivering 200mA output current at a typical dropout voltage of 185mV. The quiescent current is typically 45μA in normal operation and 2.6μA in shutdown mode, making it an ideal choice for battery-powered applications. The device features low output noise; with an external 0.01μF bypass capacitor, the output noise can be reduced to 21μVrms over a 10Hz to 100kHz bandwidth. It operates with small ceramic capacitors and remains stable with output capacitance as low as 4.7μF. Internal protection circuitry includes current limiting and thermal limiting. The device is offered in three variants: CM6511-5 provides a fixed -5V output voltage, while CM6511-5D and CM6511-BYP provide a programmable output voltage based on a -1.24V reference. It is available in a TSOT23-5 package with an operating temperature range of -40℃ to 125℃.
