Introduction
The CD405X series analog switches use digital signals to control multiplexed or selected analog switching, featuring low on-resistance and extremely low off-state leakage current. The digital signal amplitude range is 4.5V to 18V, capable of controlling analog signals with a peak-to-peak value of 18V. For example, when VDD = +5V, VSS = 0V, and VEE = -13.5V, a 0V to 5V digital signal can control analog signals ranging from -13.5V to 4.5V. These switch circuits exhibit extremely low quiescent power consumption across the entire VDD-VSS and VDD-VEE supply ranges. The CD4053 is a triple 2-to-1 bidirectional analog switch, equivalent to three single-pole double-throw (SPDT) switches. It contains three independent binary digital control inputs A, B, and C, along with an INH inhibit input. The binary digital control signals can place either of the two analog channels into the on state. When the INH input is at logic "1", all channels of the three 2-to-1 analog switches are placed in the off state; when at logic "0", all channels are placed in the on state.
