Introduction
The nRF54L15, nRF54L10, and nRF54L05 are part of the nRF54L Series. All wireless SoC options in this series integrate an ultra-low power, multiprotocol 2.4 GHz radio along with MCU functionality featuring a 128 MHz Arm Cortex-M33 processor. The nRF54L15, nRF54L10, and nRF54L05 form a flexible SoC family capable of supporting a wide range of product categories through an extended peripheral set and scalable memory configurations. Nordic Semiconductor's proprietary technologies, such as low-leakage RAM and advanced multiprotocol radio design, deliver ultra-low power consumption to help reduce battery size or extend battery life. The nRF54L Series SoCs are designed with versatility in mind, suitable for a broad range of applications. The multiprotocol 2.4 GHz radio supports Bluetooth Low Energy — with optional features including Channel Sounding introduced in Bluetooth Core Specification 6.0 — as well as IEEE 802.15.4-2020 for standards such as Thread, Matter, and Zigbee, plus a proprietary 2.4 GHz mode supporting up to 4 Mbps for higher throughput. These devices integrate peripherals commonly found in wireless MCUs, enabling many products to be realized in a single chip. An integrated RISC-V coprocessor further reduces the need for additional ICs. The nRF54L15, nRF54L10, and nRF54L05 offer a range of memory and package configurations, including pin-compatible QFN packages, enabling cost optimization and design flexibility across different application requirements.
